SEC Releases Interim Final Rules Regarding Reporting and Disclosure of Equity Awards to Named Executive Officers and Directors
In what has been described in some quarters as an early Christmas present to public companies, the Securities and Exchange Commission unexpectedly released interim final rules on December 22, 2006 that significantly change the reporting and disclosure of equity-based awards to named executive officers and directors.
