Overview

Greg Polins is a partner in Kirkland & Ellis’ Litigation Practice Group and advises clients on all manner of intellectual property disputes, with a focus on patent litigation and trade secret disputes. He has also represented companies in trademark, false advertising, patent licensing and product liability disputes. Based on his experience, Greg was named a Client Service All-Star by BTI Consulting Group.

Greg has been a member of 10 trial teams and has conducted direct and cross-examinations of fact and expert witnesses at trial. He has argued dispositive, pre-trial, trial and discovery motions, as well as claim construction. In addition, Greg has represented numerous clients at the Federal Circuit, including successfully arguing four appeals at the Federal Circuit resulting in a Rule 36 affirmance of USPTO decisions invalidating over 100 claims asserted against his client.
