Kirkland Represents Colfax on Acquisition of DJO Global for $3.15 Billion
Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised Colfax Corporation (NYSE: CFX), a leading diversified technology company, on its definitive agreement to acquire DJO Global Inc. from an investor group led by The Blackstone Group LP for $3.15 billion in cash. DJO Global is a global leader in orthopedic solutions, providing orthopedic devices, software and services spanning the full continuum of patient care, from injury prevention to rehabilitation. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2019.
