Kirkland Advised SK Capital Partners in Acquisition of Huntsman’s Remaining Interest in Venator Materials PLC

Kirkland represented SK Capital Partners, LP, a private investment firm focused on the specialty materials, chemicals and pharmaceuticals sectors, which announced on August 28 that funds it advises have entered into a definitive agreement with Huntsman Corporation (NYSE: HUN) to purchase Huntsman’s shares in Venator Materials PLC (NYSE: VNTR) for approximately $100 million cash. The deal includes an option for the purchase of Huntsman’s remaining shares. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close near year-end.
