Kirkland Advises Thoma Bravo Portfolio Company, Proofpoint, on Definitive Agreement to Acquire Tessian

Kirkland & Ellis advised Thoma Bravo’s portfolio company, Proofpoint, a cybersecurity and compliance company, on entering into a definitive agreement to acquire Tessian, a cloud email security platform that protects organisations against advanced threats and data loss on email. The acquisition is expected to close in late 2023 to early 2024, subject to customary closing conditions, including any required regulatory approvals.
