Kirkland Advises Tokio Marine on Acquisition of Agrihedge
Kirkland & Ellis advised global insurance group Tokio Marine Holdings, Inc. (TKOMY) on a definitive agreement to acquire Agrihedge (Commodity & Ingredient Hedging), an insurance and derivative company for agricultural and livestock products, for $970 million from Falfurrias Capital Partners. The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2025 subject to the receipt of regulatory approvals.
