Kirkland Advises Bain Capital on The Orogen Group's Investment in Brillio
Kirkland & Ellis is advising private equity firm Bain Capital on Orogen Group’s investment in its portfolio company Brillio, which provides digital transformation services. The transaction was announced on September 5, 2023. Bain Capital purchased a stake in Brillio in 2019 and will continue to be a strategic investor and help support the company’s growth. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
The Kirkland team is led by corporate partners Abhishek Kolay, Sri Kaushik and Adarsh Varghese, and associates Kartik Khanna and Sagun Poudyal; tax partners Mike Carew and Meg Dewar; executive compensation partners Scott Price and Jabir Yusoff; and antitrust partners Paula Riedel and Mike Thorpe and associate Samantha Jones.
