Kirkland Advises Brookfield on alstria Refinancing
Kirkland & Ellis advised Brookfield in connection with the inaugural offering of €300 million senior secured notes by certain holding companies of its portfolio company alstria office AG, a Germany-based real estate operator focused on acquiring, owning and managing existing office property. The proceeds from the offering were used to fund the repayment and cancellation of alstria’s existing holdco facility. alstria’s portfolio comprises 104 commercial buildings in five of the seven major office markets in the country.
